We’re delighted to be back with The British Art Prize 2024 brought to you by magazine.
We’re excited to host the annual British Art Prize once again this year, supported by and . A significant international art competition, The British Art Prize will provide winning artists of all levels with a broad platform for achieving beneficial exposure and recognition for their artwork. Open to everyone, whether you’re a novice, an up-and-coming artist, or a seasoned painter, all genres, media* and methods will be taken into consideration.
The British Art Prize provides artists with the possibility to sell their creations to a combined audience of around one million art enthusiasts and collectors, as well as national exposure in Artists & Illustrators. Additionally, there is an enormous prize fund of over £10,000 including cash awards, art bundles and the opportunity to be featured in an exhibition at a gallery@oxo from 4-8 December 2024. A spectacular private view reception with artists, collectors and other VIP visitors will be held on 5 December 2024 for the shortlisted artists. Each and every entry will also come with a plus-one admission to the event.

First PrizeÌý

How to enter

Press ‘Enter Now’ and complete all seven steps of the registration process. Log in and upload digital images of your artwork then make sure to click the ‘Save’ and ‘Finish’ buttons to complete your entry. The entryÌýfee for the first artwork is £20 and £17 for any additional artwork.
Selection process
Submissions close at 5pm on 26 September 2024. Our panel of soon-to-be-revealed judges will select a shortlist of 50 artworks, including the five top prize winners. The shortlist and the People’s Choice Award will be decided by a public vote and will go live online on 1 November 2024. The January 2025 issue ofÌýArtists & IllustratorsÌý(on sale 22 November 2024) will announce our fabulous winners. All artists who enter the British Art Prize 2024 get a free British Art Club membership with their entry.
